Coronavirus Breaking News: As per the Union Health Ministry (UHM) data, India identified 62,258 new coronavirus infections in a single day. This year, the maximum single-day increase is updating the countrywide Covid-19 tally to 11,908,910 on 26th March 2021. A new “Double Mutant” variant of the Covid-19 has been identified from samples assembled in India. According to news, the variants are not related to a spike in Covid-19 cases in India. Union Health Ministry investigates the variant, where two mutations in the same virus come together, are probably more infectious or less affected by vaccines. Nearly 10,787 new samples from 18 Indian states reported 771 unidentified variants – 34 from South African, 736 from Britain, and one from Brazil. Mutations in the spike gene may naturally make people “better” when they infect or may help or help the virus avoid defusing antibodies.

Second Waves Of Infection in Six States:

As per the Union Health Ministry, the second wave of infection is recognized in six states: Punjab, Maharashtra, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, & Gujarat. Gujarat and Punjab recorded their maximum numbers. Maharashtra has over 4.52 lakh active cases, above 62 percent. Nearly 291 deaths were recorded on 26th March 2021, comprising 117 in Maharashtra and 59 in Punjab.

The United Nations officials, comprising the United Nations peacekeeping chief, have thanked India for its gift of 2,00,000 Covid-19 medicine for mediators, stating that donation will allow the Blue Helmets to pursue their life-saving work securely. The 200,000 quantities of COVID-19 vaccines, declared as a gift by India for United Nations peacekeepers. Maharashtra exceeded its record with 5,513 new infections, and Pune recorded 7,090 cases in the last two days.

The five extremely Covid-19 affected states are Kerala (1,111,897), Maharashtra (2,600,833), Karnataka (978,478), Tamil Nadu (873,219), and Andhra Pradesh (895,879). New 26,902 cases were reported in Maharashtra. Coronavirus in India has been growing rapidly, not seen since May previous year, showing that India’s second wave injection may be very harmful than the first wave despite the on-going vaccination campaign.

Maharashtra – Night Curfew From 28th March:

Maharashtra Government stated that it would execute a night curfew from 28th March 2021 because the Covid cases are continuously increasing in Maharashtra. The malls and hotels remain closed from 8 PM to 7 AM in Maharashtra. The Disaster management and rehabilitation department (DMRD) will release a particular order in this concern, stated the Chief Minister.

On 26th March 2021, the MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) asked Union Territories and stated to take essential steps to control crowds of festivals (Holi and Shab-e-Rat). India reported a new and fresh 62,258 cases on 26th March 2021, taking its number to 1,18,46,652. The curfew will be from 8 PM to 7 AM and implemented in Maharashtra (Mumbai) from 28th March 2021.

Maharashtra CM (Thackeray) declared that he doesn’t want to execute a night curfew or lockdown in Maharashtra. He said that if people do not follow the Covid-19 terms and conditions, strict restrictions will be implemented soon. Strict action must be taken against bars, malls, cinemas hotels if standard working procedures are not followed.

About Double Mutant Variant:

Like all infections, the coronavirus remains to change in minor methods because it passes from one person to another. The massive majority of these mutations are incompatible and don’t change the way the virus acts. Doses against respiratory pathogens such as SARS-Cov2, the infection that causes Covid-19, secure us by inspiring our bodies to produce antibodies.

The best type of securing us is the “neutralize antibodies” as they prevent the virus from entering the human cells. Scientists of the Indian genome have identified a so-called “double version” of the new coronavirus. GISAID, an exposed sharing record, lists 43 new viruses with both the E484Q and L452R mutations recognized in India.
