Nitish Kumar attended the Iftar get together of RJD after a niche of 5 years
Patna:
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at present dismissed the hypothesis about altering political equations and mentioned that there was “nothing political” behind his resolution to attend the Iftar get together organised by Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Tejashwi Yadav in Patna on Friday.
“Many people are invited to such Iftar parties. What connection does it have with politics? We also hold an Iftar party and invite everyone,” Mr Kumar mentioned.

Nitish Kumar attended the Iftar get together of RJD after a niche of 5 years. In 2017, Mr Kumar left Bihar’s Grand Alliance or Mahagathbandhan to turn into an ally of the BJP.
His presence on the get together led to speculations that this was an indication of yet one more political volte-face by the Chief Minister. Alliance companions Janata Dal United (JDU) and BJP in Bihar are at loggerheads on a number of points, together with caste-based census, NDA management in Bihar, liquor ban, and regulation and order state of affairs.
Others who attended the Iftar get together embody BJP leaders Awadhesh Narayan Singh and Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, Lok Janshakti Get together’s (LJP) Chirag Paswan.
When requested about Nitish Kumar’s presence on the Iftar get together, Tejashwi Yadav mentioned that this can be a custom that everybody participates within the Iftar get together.
“We have given invitations to all the people whether it is from BJP, JDU or LJP and it has been a tradition that everyone participates in the Iftar party,” mentioned the RJD chief.
